Start your leather craft journey with us. We offer a variety of hands-on workshops each month designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of working with leather. Along the way, you'll learn leather craft 101, explore different types of leather and their unique characteristics, and gain practical experience with templates and patterns, cutting, saddle stitching, molding, and leather customization.
Our workshops are typically held on Sundays, with free parking available in Chinatown. All classes take place in our downtown Honolulu studio, located above our shop in the heart of historic Chinatown - 1136 Nuuanu Ave Honolulu, Hawai'i 96817.

What you learn: Saddle stitching basics and how to install hardware on leather
Create your own handcrafted Hannah Crossbody Bag from start to finish in this fun and beginner-friendly leather craft workshop. Designed for those with little to no prior experience, this class will guide you through the essential skills and techniques used in traditional leather working while you build a beautiful, functional bag to take home.
During the workshop, you'll learn how to safely and confidently use basic leather craft tools, prepare and assemble leather components, master the fundamentals of saddle stitching by hand, and install professional-quality hardware and fastenings. Along the way, you'll gain an understanding of leather-working best practices and leave with skills you can apply to future projects.

Introducing our Leather Lei Workshop Series. Join us for an evening creating and customizing your own (forever) leather lei.
Made with the highest quality full-grain vegetable tanned Italian leather, strung together with your choice of naturally dyed silk ribbon, you'll leave the evening with a lei you can pass down from generation to generation, displayed as an art piece or worn daily or for special occasions.
Leather Journal Cover Workshop

What you learn: Leather customization
Create a leather journal that’s designed and personalized by you from start to finish. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll choose the details of your journal cover - including the cover color, pocket color, journal size, and design - and then bring it to life with a variety of leatherworking techniques and creative finishes.
We’ll begin by saddle stitching your leather pocket onto the journal cover, giving you the opportunity to learn a traditional leatherworking skill. From there, you’ll customize your journal with details such as grommets, cord colors, leather stamping, paint, and adornments to create a cover that reflects you.
